When Spot Miller wheeled his chuckwagon into Sidney in 1907, city officials made him kick off the wheels and stay put. The last surviving 'Spot to Eat' location—once a chain spanning Ohio—now thrives under new owners Andrew Spayde and Seth Middleton (August 2025). The 1941 Art Moderne building gleams with white porcelain tile and an iconic neon sign. Fresh-ground burgers, made-from-scratch pies, hand-breaded pork tenderloins, and homemade soups define the menu. Carhop service still available. President George W. Bush stopped in.
