The Silos

A community food hall and beer garden built around historic 1920s grain silos near 2nd Street Market. Three Dayton residents—Wes Hartshorn, Shannon Thomas, and Scott Johnson—purchased the 1.47-acre property in 2022 and spent $2.73 million transforming it into a gathering space with four locally-owned food vendors operating from repurposed shipping containers: Nood Bar (Asian-inspired noodles and bao buns from Chef Dane Shipp of Culture), The Burger Bistro by Cece's Kitchen, KungFu BBQ, and Indigo (gluten-free, plant-forward). Centralized bar with 16 taps, full liquor, and one of only three feather bowling courts in the country.
