The Morning Riot

Sisters Carly Bogard and Hannah Wischmeyer built this 'wild and weird' brunch destination from the ground up in September 2021. Self-described 'alien disco vibes' meet serious culinary chops—all bread, bagels, and pastries are baked in-house daily. Local sourcing runs deep: Blue Jacket Dairy cheese curds, Hull's Trace aged cheddar, Indian Creek Creamery milk, and Deeper Roots coffee. The Rise & Swine sandwich (slow-cooked pork, honey mustard aioli, candied jalapeños on house croissant) won the 2nd annual Taste of Bellefontaine. Full coffee bar plus mimosas and the signature Bloody Hell Jenny.
