The Midway Cafe

A Fort Thomas landmark in a building that's been standing for over 90 years, Midway Cafe was taken over in 2015 by two lifelong friends — Dave and Matt, along with their wives Staci and Erika — who kept the bones of the place and rebuilt everything else. The smoked wings are the reason most people show up, and the Cajun dry rub is the move. WLWT named them best wings in the region in 2018 and the reputation has only grown since. The bourbon selection is the other half of the story — an extensive, carefully curated lineup that caught the attention of bourbon groups across NKY.
