The Aperture

Opened January 2024 by Chef/Owner Jordan Anthony-Brown, a Cincinnati native and 2025 James Beard Semifinalist for Best Emerging Chef. Located in the historic 1931 Paramount Building in Walnut Hills' Peebles' Corner. Mediterranean-inspired cuisine served mezze-style from an open wood-fired hearth kitchen. Menu draws from coastal regions of Southern France, Italy, Greece, and the Levant—charred carrots with Middle Eastern spices, lamb shoulder with harissa and Persian tahdig, house-made focaccia with za'atar butter. Named to New York Times Best Restaurants 2024 and USA Today 2025 Restaurant of the Year. Black-owned fine dining.
