Ohio's best-kept secret hiding in plain sight. Kim Frazier—Springfield native—bought the former Nifty 50's Bar in 2018, chasing a lifelong dream of owning a restaurant. After a year building out the kitchen, she brought in Executive Chef Clayton Horrighs, whose pan-Asian expertise spans Japan, Vietnam, China, and Korea. When the neighborhood regulars weren't thrilled with ramen replacing their dive bar, Frazier hosted a soft opening for friends—and social media did the rest. Now people drive two, three hours for what Yelp voted best ramen in Ohio. The cozy 800-square-foot interior keeps the dive bar charm; the front patio is bigger than the dining room.
