Our Story

Owned by six-time World Pizza Champion Brittany Saxton, who purchased the restaurant in 2023 after 13+ years in the industry—including serving as assistant general manager under founder Michael Shepherd, a four-time World and three-time US Pizza Champion who started it in 2011. Brittany was his protégé, and he taught her that 'children are your most honest and important customers.' She's also competed on Food Network's Guy's Grocery Games. The name comes from the 600-degree temperature of their old-world brick ovens. Located in a beautifully renovated former JC Penney/Uhlman's Department Store with restored stamped metal ceilings, high-backed booths, and views into the open kitchen. Dough made in-house daily, local farm-raised products including Blue Jacket Dairy feta cheese. Try the garlic knots, the New Orleans pizza, or the Mad Hatter—Manager Daulton Cornell's gold medal winner from 2014. New wine room with stone walls and brick ceilings for private events.
