A downtown Dayton bakery and café in the Fire Blocks District from pastry chef Justin Mohler, who honed his craft over 20 years at Blue Moon, Christopher's, and Olive Urban Dive. Open-faced biscuit sandwiches star on the menu—The Early Bright (everything biscuit, bacon, hard-boiled egg, cheddar, tomato) and The Sow (pimento cheese, bacon, bread and butter pickles) are fan favorites. European influences from Mohler's Italian travels inspire the tinned seafood planks served charcuterie-style. The toasted coconut cream "crack cake" has achieved local legend status. Walk in and you'll find Mohler's family photos and vintage Pyrex on display—designed to feel like someone's kitchen.
