A Covington institution since the 1990s, Riverside Korean Restaurant has been owned since 2014 by Bruce and Yujin Kim, who moved from Chicago and transformed it into the #1 Korean restaurant in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Chef Bruce Kim handcrafts every sauce, soup, and marinade to meet his mother's taste test for authenticity, serving dishes like dolsot bi bim bab (served sizzling in a hot stone bowl), bulgogi, galbi tang, and sam gyub sal bo sam alongside six traditional banchan side dishes. The family-owned restaurant offers both traditional American seating and Korean-style floor tables in a modern, cozy atmosphere with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
