Quatman Cafe (Norwood)

A Cincinnati institution since 1966, still family-owned and operated by Matt Imm, son of co-founder Albert Imm. The half-pound cheeseburger — made from a Wassler’s Meats chuck blend, the sole supplier since day one — is the undisputed draw. Order it without specifying temperature; it comes out exactly right. The in-house deli in the back still sells cheese and lunch meat by the pound. Gingham tablecloths, a cherry bar, daily specials, and a Monday cheeseburger-fries-and-beer deal that borders on criminal.
