Pig Candy BBQ - Kellogg Ave

Opened in March 2021 by couple Paul Montgomery and Christina Goehrig in a restored 1913 building that once served as California, Ohio's police station—the basement kitchen was the original horse stables. Meats smoked on-premise with scratch-made sides and sauces. The signature Pig Candy Waffle features pulled pork with maple peach glaze on a gluten-free waffle. Healthier sides and vegan goetta reflect the owners' evolving approach to BBQ. Second location opened in Loveland in October 2025.
