Affectionately called 'The Farmer's Country Club,' known for good food, cold drinks, and crazy customers. One side is plain tables and chairs; the other is a dark bar with TVs—a sports bar that collided with a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Fresh-cut steaks, huge pork chops, liver and onions, walleye, and scratch-made desserts including bread pudding and peanut butter pie. Right on US Route 40 near the antique mall.
Owner Terri Katawick reopened June 26, 2008 after the previous owner suddenly closed. Her husband Jim kept telling her she needed to reopen it—she repeatedly said 'No!' but three months later he convinced her to become sole proprietor. Affectionately called 'The Farmer's Country Club,' known for good food, cold drinks, and crazy customers. One side is plain tables and chairs; the other is a dark bar with TVs and typical bar decor—a sports bar that collided with a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Locals say don't judge by the cover; the parking lot is always full for a reason. Fresh-cut steaks, huge pork chops, liver and onions, walleye, and scratch-made desserts including bread pudding and peanut butter pie. Right on US Route 40 near the antique mall.
