Lisa's Kitchen

Owner Lisa Hall worked 27 years as a waitress and floor manager at Red Squirrel before that local chain closed in August 2013. Rather than see her regulars scattered, she reopened the Fairfield location as Lisa's Kitchen, preserving the beloved double-decker sandwiches while adding her own specials. The open kitchen lets guests watch their food being prepared, and Lisa herself is often on the floor ensuring customer satisfaction. Locals rave about the BLT with hard-boiled egg, crispy fries (called "the best in Butler County"), goetta omelets, and homestyle corned beef hash.
