A scratch Italian kitchen with roots going back to 2010 in downtown New Albany — where it operated first as Connor's Place, then La Bocca, then Bella Roma beginning in 2014. Recently relocated to the Jeffersonville riverfront, it brought its following with it. All pasta and sauces made fresh daily; when dishes sell out, they're gone. The menu is classic Italian-American without shortcuts: veal parmigiana, chicken piccata, chicken saltimbocca, seafood linguini, tiramisu, and housemade cannoli. Small room, intimate feel.
