Authentic Japanese cuisine from a family that lives and breathes tradition. Chef Keiichi "Ken" Ando and wife Keiko opened in Lebanon in 1998 after meeting in Cincinnati in 1977 and spending years in Minneapolis. They moved to Blue Ash in 2004, where daughter Chiaki now works alongside her father at the sushi bar, wielding the traditional single-edged yanagi with inherited skill. Ken sources fish directly from Japan and a Taiwanese contact for freshwater eel—but the real magic happens in storage, temperature control, and handling before anything reaches the counter.
