About 3 Ladies Thai Cuisine

Specializing in authentic Thai and unique Laotian dishes rarely found in the area, 3 Ladies Thai Cuisine takes a no-shortcuts approach to fresh, made-to-order cooking. Standouts include their signature crab rangoons with homemade strawberry sauce, shrimp pho in house-made broth, and traditional Laotian specialties like larb and papaya salad. Generous portions and customizable spice levels—from mild to legitimately fiery—have earned them a loyal following willing to wait a bit longer for food that's cooked fresh when ordered, not sitting under heat lamps.

Worth a Short Detour

Solid choice. Make the effort to get here. These are your reliable go-to spots, good food, good vibes, no regrets. Not a special-occasion destination, but consistently worth showing up for. The bread and butter of great local dining.

3 Ladies Thai Cuisine doesn’t try to win you over with flash. It wins you over with depth — the kind that only shows itself once everything comes together. We ordered a spread that covered a lot of ground: spring rolls, egg rolls (essentially cousins), egg drop soup, beef pho, and a couple of familiar crowd-pleasers in orange chicken and General Tso’s chicken (gotta feed the unimaginative kids too). The latter two were solid — well executed, comforting, and exactly what they’re supposed to be — but they’re not the reason to come here. Those dishes exist everywhere. This kitchen’s real strength shows up elsewhere. The egg drop soup was a quiet standout. Silky, warm, and balanced, it felt intentional rather than filler — the kind of soup that reminds you why simple things still matter when they’re done right. Then there was the pho. We ordered takeout, which can be a gamble with noodle soups, but if you’re eating Thai, a lot of times it is takeout, so we had to try that route to put the ladies to the test. Out of the container, it didn’t immediately impress — and that’s worth saying, because honesty matters. But once everything met the piping-hot bone broth, it clicked. Hard. The beef pho came alive the way it’s supposed to, with flavors that stayed distinct while still working together. Rich, clean broth. Tender beef. Noodles that held their structure. Nothing muddy, nothing overpowering. On the second pass, we let the peppers soak longer, and that’s when it really hit its stride. The broth deepened, the heat settled in, and suddenly it was the kind of bowl that makes you think about when you can come back rather than whether you finished it. That’s the tell. 3 Ladies Thai Cuisine feels like a place that knows what it does best and leans into it. For us, that means pho — and plenty of future bowls of it. Some meals satisfy you in the moment. Others make you want to return. This one nails both. Good to know: Takeout travels better than you might expect, but the magic really happens once everything comes together at home — or better yet, on your next visit.

"If it's not better than a chain, it doesn't deserve to be on wellfd."
